Ben graduated from Bryant College in 2002, earning his Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Finance and a double minor in Communications and Legal Studies.

Through his financial planning advice, Ben provides knowledge for his clients while exemplifying the utmost standards of professionalism and integrity. He values his clients and prides himself on building deep long-lasting relationships. Ben has several designations including Certified Advisor for Senior Living and Retirement Income Certified Professional.

As a Financial Advisor, Ben brings a holistic approach to a client’s individual situation to help them plan for the lives they have always wanted. One of his areas of expertise is working with families that have a dependent with special needs. Ben has received numerous industry awards including being inducted into the Barnum Financial Group Hall of Fame 2022 and The Hartford Business Journal’s 40 under 40 for Connecticut in 2014. In addition, he was awarded numerous Leaders, Blue chip, Wealth Management, President’s, and Chairman’s trophies. Ben oversees Team Howarth, which has received the Barnum Financial Group Team of the Year for 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Ben and his wife Kourtney currently live in Eastern Connecticut. They enjoy spending time with their family, friends and mostly their dog, Cash. Ben also serves on the executive charity board for The Barnum Foundation for Life where they work to improve the lives of underprivileged children in local communities.
